MORE NEWT ACTION TODAY!!! This morning we were at the Damselfly Wetland conducting our pond dipping surveys and water quality monitoring. We had some fantastic results. All data collected is sent to the Ribble Rivers Trust for analysis.

In hot weather we need to take extra care handling the fish we catch. As temperatures rise, dissolved oxygen in the water decreases. The combination of low water levels and high temperatures can also make fish more susceptible to disease, parasites & infections. ▶️Carp and eels
