The Douglas County Public Library in Minden will be closed on Monday, May 27th for Memorial Day. The library will resume its regular schedule on Tuesday, May 28th at 10:00 a.m.

The Douglas County Public Library in Minden and Zephyr Cove will be closed on Wednesday, June 19th for Juneteenth. The Minden library will reopen on Thursday, June 20th at 10:00 a.m. and the Zephyr Cove Library will reopen Thursday at 8:00 a.m.

Papercrafters, come to the Zephyr Cove Library for a day of fun! Swap supplies donated by the community and come learn something new! Drop in 10AM-4PM on the following Tuesdays: July 9, Aug 13, Sep 3, Oct 29, Nov 12, & Dec 10. Kids may join as long as supervised by an adult.

The Douglas County Public Library in Minden will be holding a 3D Pen Art Program for adults on Wednesday, July 24th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Registration is not required. Drop in and create spring-themed 3D Pen Art!

The Douglas County Public Library in Minden and Zephyr Cove will be closing early Wednesday, Nov 27th at 2:00 p.m., and will be closed Thursday, Nov 28th and Friday, Nov29th for Thanksgiving and Family Day.

We are excited to announce the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Storytime. Join this special club on the 2nd Monday of every month starting November 10 at 1PM in the Minden Meeting Room. The 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Storytime is intended for children up to 6 years old.

The Douglas County Public Library in Minden and Zephyr Cove will be closed Tuesday, November 11thin observance of Veterans Day. The library will reopen at 10:00 a.m. in Minden and 9:00 a.m. in Zephyr Cove on Wednesday, November 12th.
