The start of August. Usually the hottest month, but today we are getting slightly cooler temps as a storm comes in, a nice little reprieve, I suppose.

After having to give up my home office for 3 weeks, it feels incredible to have it back finally. No longer having to scrunch behind my laptop in a corner feels nice.

I actually managed to get a decent amount of sleep, and now I feel more tired than I normally do. Go figure, ugh.

After nearly a week of the weather report saying it would rain and it did not, I decided to ignore it and go out, so of course it finally did and I got caught out in the rain.

Good morning, all! We made it to the final day of the work week! I hope you all are able to wrap everything up so you can relax this weekend.

Anyone else having issues with this platform on their computer? It feels like lately I have to log in again, and all my settings have been reset. Minor annoyance, but still annoying.

I probably should be getting to bed, but I'm trying to squeeze every minute out of this weekend. I'll probably regret it in the morning, but I sure am enjoying it now.

Got to the end of this story I'm writing, and I honestly have no idea what the ending should be. I'm just going to hit play and hope the characters solve it...

I was supposed to start the day with 3 hours of meetings without a break, but then half of them got canceled. That's kind of a win, right?

Happy Thursday! It's the final day of the week, as my work is giving us the day off tomorrow for a 4-day weekend. So looking forward to it!

Today is technically a day off from work, so I'll be "working" at my other job, focusing on getting a bunch of editing done. I hope you all have a great end to your week!

Good morning all! It's looking like a lovely day with temps dropping 30 degrees overnight so that it is no longer sweltering and actually a little chilly. I love this time of the year when the seasons slowly start shifting.

I couldn't have any coffee this morning, and it's now after 7 pm, and I'm still wide awake. That's an accomplishment, right?
