DRSG are pleased to have helped Stonewater Housing manage potential breeding peregrines at one of their sites. We have installed a bespoke nest box on Harbour Sails high-rise in Poole, Dorset (above ASDA). If peregrines use this box it will be safe and secure.

Both peregrines in Poole yesterday morning. Male at the top of Barclays building and the female on the east side of ASDA (Harbour Sail)

Female peregrine on Harbour Sail (ASDA high-rise) yesterday, sheltering from the rain/wind. Some prey remains.

Today we installed a new nest box for the Poole peregrines on Harbour Sail (Asda high rise). This is the location I always intended a box to be. North facing with a sheer drop below. Fingers crossed the birds find it and like it. Thanks to the building owners 🙏

A word to say we have determined where the Poole peregrines are most likely to nest this year. On the ASDA high-rise (Harbour Sail). Not in one of the boxes provided but in a gulley on the flat roof. They now have a gravel tray and the female has been on it. 🤞🤞
