Currently there is no treatment for cancer in #Afghanistan. Patients have to travel to Pakistan for possible treatments but often some families dont have the funds. We do fundraisers for specific cases & this time thanks to our donor Manuela another lady is on her way to Pakistan

At Hope Kindness we help mostly women and children. Thank you to our supporters we helped this lady who came from the camp in #Herat with some cash and things for her kids in order for her to go relatives in another province. Most of the people in camps dont have money to leave.

We are in need of funds to help two people with Kabul Job Carts in #Kabul #Afghanistan. One disabled man as well as a man with one daughter with ongoing medical needs. By purchasing a cart for a family they will be able to earn an income as well as having something to do daily

The internet and data services play a huge role in our daily activities. We might not have the best technology but we cant operate without it. 95% of our donors are abroad &we need the banking fascilities. A few days without food or healthcare causes alot of problems for so many

A recap of this past week. As it was the end of the month we had no communication to donors for the orphanages. Subsequently no food was sent to them. Food gets delivered monthly in bulk as we provide 3 meals a day to 70 children. Ques to collect money will be long in next days

We had two cancer patients in Pakistan this past week. With no communication they returned back as they were not sure what to do with their treatments & fearing of running out if money just returned home. The visa process is closed for our youngest patient. All major implications

It also looks as if people have now lost trust in #Afghanistan as we received ONE donation since the time the internet was cut. Not quite sure what we will be doing this month to help others as it seems that we are still in a dark situation regardless of having internet or not.
