Student of the week! 🎉 This weeks student of the week has been nominated the Mathematics department: Amanjot Kaur Year 9, for her amazing work on equations .🎉

Doncaster UTC is thrilled to announce the launch of our exciting new BTEC Esports programme, starting in September 2025. Applications are now open for the first cohort, offering students the chance to gain skills and knowledge in the fast-growing esports and gaming industry.

A Level geography students received an insight into the world of Geographical Information Systems during a visit to the UTC from Dr Andrew Jones from Sheffield Hallam University.

Year 9 Engineers had a great start to their second Employer Project on the 15th of January and were joined by Software Engineers Dan and Beth who delivered a presentation which gave our students a real insight into the world of electric motors and their broad applications!

Henri Pearson and Gabriel Morley from Phonetic Media (buff.ly/4hj4L3k) visited Doncaster UTC on Thursday this week to give our year 12 Digital Media students an insight into working in the print and creative industries.

Recently, our Year 12 Health and Social Care students had the opportunity to dissect hearts, which aided them in understanding the chambers, vessels, and valves in preparation for their anatomy and physiology examination.

Last Wednesday around 50 students in Years 9 and 10 took part in the UKMT Mathematics competition. This well regarded competition aims to test student's mathematical reasoning and problem solving skills. It was fantastic to see so many students taking part!

Henri Pearson and Gabriel Morley from Phonetic Media Group (buff.ly/4aSVX1t) visited our post 16 Creative Digital Media students last week and set them a challenge to design an animated digibanner to promote Doncaster UTC's key messages!
