Hey #Canada, what are the fundamental values that make for a flourishing society?

Many people today legitimately base their moral choices around whether something will be “fun” or “nice.” Not virtue. Not glory. Not honour. Not immortality. This is the bankruptcy of secularism. It reduces us to the level of children.

Sluggards are very reasonable people. They have no shortage of “reasons” for the things they leave undone: “The sluggard says, ‘There is a lion outside! I shall be killed in the streets!’” (Prov. 22:13)

This isn’t the first time Darwinism has led to the systematic murder of the weak and vulnerable—and it won’t be the last. Scripture nails it: “…all who hate me love death.” (Prov. 8:36) Until we repent and return to Christ, we will continue to see more of this wickedness.

Go to church. Worship the living God through His Son, Jesus Christ. And do so “all the more” as you see the Day drawing near.

“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” (Matt. 6:33) The worship of the living God and the Spirit-driven pursuit of His kingdom and righteousness is not a distraction from the mission—it is the mission.

Oh really? “Do not give your strength to women, your ways to those who destroy kings. It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine, or for rulers to take strong drink…” (Prov. 31:3-4).

There will be no return to sanity until we turn to Christ—which means a wholesale repudiation of unbelief in ALL its forms, “conservative” as well as progressive.

The love of nuance is the root of all kinds of evil.

What are the most important Scripture verses for parents to believe and obey? We’ll start: “Folly is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline drives it far from him.” (Prov. 22:15)

Intellectual objections to the Christian faith are always, to varying degrees, disingenuous. This is because the root of unbelief is never purely a lack of evidence, but "pleasure in unrighteousness" (2 Thess. 2:12). In other words, we don't believe because we don't WANT to.

So you want to save the West? This is step one. Nothing else happens apart from this.

“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” — Proverbs 22:6 Sadly, the left takes this verse more seriously than many Christians.

Many young people get suckered into leftist ideology out of a failure to recognize the fallenness of both themselves and the world. Utopian platitudes sound appealing, radical, and promising to those who have yet to grapple with their own sin and mortality.
