This month our young adults serviced & refurbished 8 pre-loved bikes that we take to the local Sue Ryder shop to sell 🚲 It's a great initiative for the young adults to give back to the community while gaining new skills that also contribute towards their The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award evidence.

Great visit to HMP&YOI Swinfen Hall this morning. Amazing to see one young person has completed three sections of his DofE Award, great achievement! Loved hearing about how he organised a food bank collection for the local community 👏

This may look like a photo of a “normal” conference. It was far from it…the room was full of business and prison leaders working to get more ex offenders into work. With over 90 Employment Advisory Boards in place we’re on the way to getting a third of prison leavers in to work.

Today we delivered a number of refurbished bikes to Sue Ryder & collected another batch for our learners to work on in the workshop. The YA's are working towards City & Guilds qualifications & completing evidence for their @DofEawards, all whilst giving back to the community.
