R.I.P. to this TV score legend. He got his start on "The Simpsons" through the very first "Treehouse of Horror" nearly 35 years ago. He made a great first impression with his Halloween-y score, making it an audible highlight for the episode alongside James Earl Jones' voice.

"The Sand Castle" was one of the earliest National Film Board of Canada animated shorts I ever saw back when the Movieola channel was a thing. I rewatched it earlier this month, not too long before Co passed away, and I rewatched it just the other night in his memory.

Every now and then, I think back to this ending score heard in "Rosebud". It's simultaneously dissonant (to the point of sounding flat-out creepy) and awesome!
