@TetlowTania Fordham University We are asking you turn this mandate into a recommendation please… the side effects, myocarditis, heart inflammation, sudden cardiac arrest are all very real.

@TetlowTania Fordham University Continued vaccination neither prevents infection nor community spread. College students are at zero risk of serious infection. Forcing them to take more shots to protect themselves is unethical.

Fordham is one of only 11 schools in the country with a bivalent booster mandate and the only one with a November 1 deadline. If you are Fordham faculty and concerned about this development, please read the petition and, if you agree with it, sign it. docs.google.com/forms/d/1PevZS…

No College Mandates (@ncm4ever) 's Twitter Profile Photo

As far as we know, there are 14 colleges that have explicitly stated that students are (or will soon be) required to get the bivalent. The other 325 or so colleges that mandate boosters are unclear as to whether the 2nd booster will be mandated.

ABC7 Eyewitness News NBC News CBS News PIX11 News nearly 1200 signed our letter in 7 days. Not exactly a tiny fraction of Fordham’s pop., and our numbers continue to grow every day. Stop the 11/1 mandate insidehighered.com/news/2022/10/1…

Today is a big day for Fordham. Parents, alumni, staff, family, and students say enough is enough to the bivalent booster mandate.

We all know what is wrong with our politics and us as a people. How do we get to a better place? I don't know what sets us right but I know damn well what is wrong. Thoughts?
