Congratulations to two of our TAFE students who competed this weekend in the Teach Tomorrow Summit in Round Rock! Payton & Abbi wrote and illustrated a children's book from scratch and brought it to be presented and judged. They got 2nd place and are advancing to the nationals.

This week our Teach Denton club joined up with our SEL Coach to creat a bulletin board celebrating all of the cultures in our school. Hawk Elementary

Our Teach Denton meeting today was all about SEL. We had a district SEL coach as our guest speaker. She talked about what SEL is and why it’s important. These future educators then got to practice some of the strategies, like doorway greetings and 2x10. Hawk Elementary

Our final Teach Denton meeting of the year started with the members getting to shop for school supplies to take home thanks to our amazing staff. It ended with the Teach Denton members from Crownover coming to talk about TAFE and TD in middle school! Hawk Elementary
