2021 documentary film Under The Volcano chronicles a decade of music made at AIR Montserrat, a recording studio built by George Martin in 1979. Brothers In Arms was recorded there, alongside numerous other seminal albums, before its destruction by Hurricane Hugo in 1989.

'Brothers In Arms' was written about the 1982 Falklands War and is sung by a soldier who is dying on the battlefield. It has since become a poignant anti-war anthem.

Mark Knopfler speaking about the experience of recording at AIR Montserrat as part of 2021 documentary film Under The Volcano, directed by Gracie Otto. AIR Montserrat was a famed recording studio built by George Martin in 1979 which played host to numerous notable artists.

Featuring a guest vocal appearance by Sting on the signature falsetto 'I want my MTV' intro line and chorus, the groundbreaking video for 'Money For Nothing' was the first to be aired on MTV Europe when the network launched on 1 August 1987.
