A year ago today, I started #100devs. In the first class Leon talked about the trough of sorrow and how hard it would be, and I just remember being so determined that I was going to make it. Even knowing how determined I was, it still feels so surreal that I actually did it🥹

+this reminds me of a hilarious recent interaction. Someone came in with the familiar argument: "This system is too big, too complex to audit" The rebuttal was gold - "wait, so why is it being deployed in the first place?" If a system can't be reliably evaluated, why allow it?
