Yesterday Matt Hancock visited George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust, Northampton General Hospital 💙 and West Leicestershire Clinical Commissioning Group to learn more about their work in: 👉 prevention 👩🏾‍⚕️ improving staff wellbeing 🏥 easing pressures on A&E departments All of which are central to delivering the #NHSLongTermPlan.

Baby Florie was the first Valentine's Day baby delivered today, arriving at 8:14am and weighing 7lbs 11oz. Midwives at the hospital had given Florie and all the babies born at the maternity unit today a little heart bib, to celebrate their arrival on this special day.

What a wonderful new room it will really improve difficult times for our patients.... well done all involved!
