I’ll say it again. There are many causes of #anxiety one is unreasonable people doing unreasonable things to reasonable people who have no power.

So it's bandcamp Friday, the day they waive some of the huge costs associated to advertising on their platform. We never apply platform costs to the sale of any records or cds. We also offer buy 4 pay for 3 items 365 days a year - why not grab something from us

Check this - Sainsbury's are doing a cheesecake that's a . . . cake. Wow, thanks for clarifying. What's next - corn flake flakes? 🤦‍♂️

Lots of factually incorrect stuff here. The RN hasn’t done battle/cruisers like ever. No such ship. We haven’t done cruisers since WWII. Always important if you’re going to make big statements that you have some idea of what you are talking about.

Finally, people are waking up: Chatbots and Generative AI cannot "think" and so no amount of investment in them will lead to "sentience" or "super intelligence." The myth of machine consciousness has been used to fuel investment frenzy - and now the game is up. Link below:

Linlithgow folks! One of my favourite bookshops in the country, Far From The Madding Crowd Far From The Madding Crowd Bookshop, is stocking copies of TERMINAL. Reviews say TERMINAL “summons the likes of Poe and RLS,” and that it’s “for those with a love of anything Black Mirror-esque”.

Watched this the other night. It's had a lot of hate, but I thought it was alright. FKA Twigs pretty wooden, but the cinematography and action were all pretty good. I liked the Kill Bill-esque bit at the opera. Better than some other remakes, like Point Break for instance.

An AI-loving tech geek who - somehow - thinks the future can exist in the present. Can some robot out there teach him that this is not possible?

I aimed to make this novel as realistic as possible and it shies away from nothing. A dark read but worth your time if you like seafaring tales.
