Mr Donald Rose, 106 years young, has served in the 7th Armoured infantry across N Africa, Europe and Middle East, awarded the French Medal of Honour, in his bucket list was to ride in a fire engine. It was our honour Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service to meet him and make his wish come true today π

Today we are saying a very fond farewell to our Deputy Chief Fire Officer Rick Roberts who is retiring after a long and successful career which began in Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service in 1994 before transferring to Derbyshire in 1999. Good luck & happy retirement Rick from everyone at #TeamDFRS
