The overall skill and ability of those appointed to the President's Cabinet by Donald Trump may be the best in decades. Undertaking the change necessary in the federal government is difficult and will be initially painful. Trump has assembled the right cabinet for the job.

It seems to me the critical issues now are to codify the DOGE excessive funding finds so it doesn't happen again, and reduce taxes accordingly. I support a flat tax simple system but that won't happen in the near term. Changes to the immigration system must happen soon.

On this Easter Sunday it is so sad there are so many frauds and scammers lying in wait for elderly folks like us. We are in need of a new roof on our home. I decided to look at those offering grants or support to Seniors. I discovered most are insincere come-ons or scams. Sad.

It just seems to me the first consideration is clear: An illegal immigrant entered this country illegally. They are not citizens and therefore not entitled to benefits of citizenship. That's my sense in the matter. Clearly a gang member is not a suitable individual for entry.
