day 2 was a success!

Today, we used scissors for the first time! I was very impressed!!

So, so proud!! We are using our fine motor skills and spelling our names! 💙💛

Pre-k has a lot of firsts! Today we practiced using glue sticks for the first time!! 💜🧡 We did so well!

Today we used “magic paint” to find our hidden names! it was so much fun, and such a big hit! I love pre-k 🥰💙💛

Yesterday in Pre-K, we conducted an experiment to see if sugar or salt will melt ice! We took a class vote, and most friends chose sugar! It turns out that salt melts ice the fastest! We had so much fun! 💙🧊❄️

Principal tip: when needed to cover a class always go off script for at least 10-15 minutes to write the classroom teacher notes of appreciation!

My pre-k journey has come to a bittersweet end 😞 It has been an amazing 4 years at Oquenock, and I will miss everyone so very much. I’ll be teaching 4th grade over at Manetuck next year! Follow along for all the fun ☺️
