I spend a lot of time bemoaning the downfall of games writing, so I want to be sure to shout about how cool "Mansion" is, from Lost In Cult. An incredibly stylish and creative collection of work.

Uh oh, my game's title is a little too close to Bushido Ball on ufo 50, even though it's a very different kind of game. Maybe I should add a subtitle like- "Bushido Baseball: No Base is Safe". Anyways, everyone go play #ufo50

My golden rules for worldbuilding: 1) Purpose-driven: Every world must reflect deeper human dilemmas, not just look cool 2) Consistency: The rules of your world must be unique and hold up 3) Characters: They're the tortured lens through which we feel and understand the world

Like imagine someone reanimating the incredibles from scratch, it would probably look good for its own reasons but why would you do that. I can't think of anything less artistically fulfilling than retreading the steps of someone who already got to do the fun creative part.

Having watched it now I think people were way too harsh on that second Uzumaki episode, using literally the two worst clips they could find. I'm still really enjoying this adaptation. Enjoy things on your own terms.
