🚨Firefighters are demanding democracy in Northamptonshire. Their elected fire authority has been replaced by an unaccountable police, fire and crime commissioner (PFCC). Chaos has ensued. This failed experiment has been forced on fire services - it must end.

When police, fire and crime commissioners replace fire authorities, our service suffers. Once again, Northamptonshire's PFCC Stephen Mold is aiming to appoint a chief fire office with no firefighting experience. This is an insult to firefighters, and a threat to public safety.
