Thank you @BSEEGOV for the opportunity to tour the Coelacanth Platform, producer of oil and natural gas and meet the people who keep America energy secure. The platform is the 3rd-tallest structure of its kind in the Gulf at 1,312 feet. The tour was a “high-point” of my visit.

It was my honor to present Steve Erhart the Secretary's Exceptional Service Award for his 30+ years of service U.S. Department of Energy. I want to thank my colleague for his steadfast commitment to the DOE mission and wish him the best in his retirement.

Deputy Energy Secretary Mark Menezes toured the Defense Waste Processing Facility as part of his visit to SRS last week.

This Advanced Reactor Design funding addresses the challenges that are facing these industry teams as they work to develop next gen nuclear technologies. Eventual demonstration of these reactors will help the U.S. expand access to clean energy, create jobs and grow our economy!

As countries around the world set goals and work to reduce emissions, America’s reductions have outpaced all others, with air pollution rates six times lower than the global average!
