A close friend was one of the US diplomats expelled from Russia in 2017 in retaliation for US sanctions. He’s also one of the over 1300 laid off from the State Dept. on Friday. He told me, “Putin gave me five days to leave. Rubio gave me five hours.” nbcnews.com/politics/trump…

10 years of people saying we can break off pieces off Trump's coalition by offering them healthcare and rural broadband and what finally broke his base was the revelation that there isn't a Democratic pedophile cult.

The list of Deep State conspiracists who know the difference between a voting machine and a DNC server is very long indeed. Will Tulsi fire Ratcliffe for his role in this cover-up, extending as recently as last week?

The government is literally not collecting actual inflation data anymore. They’re just estimating what they think inflation is. They “suddenly” changed this in May 2025. Right before the tariffs started getting collected. How much more obvious can they make it for you guys?

JUST IN: In his first direct comments about today’s jobs report, President Trump says he’s asking the head of the Bureau of Labor Statistics to be fired. He claims without proof the data is being politically manipulated.

This is how the old Soviet Union managed its statistics: Make sure the people doing the statistics knew what was expected of them.

My fear is that ordinary Americans are not experiencing the firing of an experienced, non-partisan, leader of a statistical agency as the major earthquake for the United States that it is.

The number of people who think that (a) it's easy to get accurate data in a timely fashion and (b) if there are revisions it must be "mistakes" or "faking data" is really worrisome. Let me explain. 🧵

One idea you hear often is "Just use private data!" Private data can be very useful. But the broadest alternative to the CES payroll survey is ADP, which 1) only has 2/3 of the CES sample, 2) isn't designed to be random and unbiased, 3) still requires birth/death adjustment.

America has lost 116k manufacturing jobs over the last year—that's the fastest pace of job loss since the early COVID era and worse than any period from 2011-2019. Big drops in the transportation (-49k) & electronics (-32k) industries drive most of the decline

if a Dem president were this deranged and disconnected from reality, mainstream media would pressure other Ds to push him out because the media knows D officials will act rationally in the public interest when necessary no such pressure on Rs now because media knows they won't

it's become a given in our politics that we have one normal party that's rooted in the real world and one crazy, cultish one that isn't

Every product is also potentially an input into another product. When the government taxes imported products, it raises the price of inputs to domestic industries- reducing domestic production and domestic employment. None of this should come as news.

I’ve tried to be objective & non-alarmist in response to current HHS actions – but quite frankly this move is going to cost lives. mRNA technology has uses that go far beyond vaccines… and the vaccine they helped develop in record time is credited with saving millions. 🤯

Bill Clinton spent five minutes with Loretta Lynch and it was a huge story, meanwhile the White House is all but sticking “Cover-Up Meeting” on the official schedules.
