Youth 2000 Centre had a great morning yesterday learning all about New Orleans 🎊

We had so much fun this morning with Kids Kingdom Child Care Center, learning all about Newfoundland. Each child got to take home their very own puffin and we finished off with some Newfoundland musical chairs 🐧

We found this little visitor hanging out in the Museum this afternoon 🦫 If you would like to see our great selection of stuffed animals or purchase one, swing by the Museums gift shop to check them out!

We enjoyed our last program for the summer with the Youth 2000 Centre. Learning all about Mexico, finishing off with a surprise piñata, homemade maracas 🪇 and a snack!

And just like that our Summer Program has come to an end! We enjoyed every second of our Wednesday Program and we look forward to what next summer will bring ☀️

Moose Hunting Season 2023 is officially opened today! For many in our province, hunting, fishing, trapping and logging are not only a passion but a way of life. A way of life that has been important to the residents of our province for centuries. Happy Hunting!

Did you know? We have a wonderful kiosk here at the Demasduit Regional Museum that takes visitors through the different sights and sounds of the Central industry. There is still time to check it out before our season wraps up for another year.

Sunday, October 1st, is our last day open for the season. If you haven't come to see us yet, you still have one week! We would love to have you visit us 🙂
