An artist’s sketch of the Chateau Qu’Appelle in Regina SK. Construction commenced just before WW1 and was stalled due to labour shortage and material rationing. Then in 1919 the GTP Railway went bankrupt and the hotel was never completed. New listing at deespostcards.com

Kimberley BC, 1940s postcard. I rarely come across Kimberley cards on the island, so it was nice to stumble upon 3 rppc’s at an antique store while out walking with 📷 the other day. I’m always searching for ‘big open space’ when out with the camera, so finding this made me smile
