I’m curious if there’s a downside to AI therapy chatbots. e.g. would patients become dependent on them due to the immediate feedback loop, vs learning better self sufficient strategies? I suppose it also depends on how they are developed The “right answer” could be human+AI

taste > skills taste seems more scarce these days, and increasingly differentiating in the age of AI where so much of skills-based productivity is offloaded to compute. makes me think about the development of taste, and how we nurture taste for the next gen of humans.

Perplexity/ChatGPT need to figure out cost sharing sooner than they think. If everyone uses them for answers, writers won't get traffic. If they don't get traffic, they don't get paid. If they can't pay the bills, they won't be able to make good content.
