Last Saturday was the annual Greater Manchester County Awards evening and it was an honour to be able to attend and give certificates to so many deserving volunteers, including 2 medals for 60 years of service. It was a fabulous evening and congratulations to all invited 💚💚

Today I attended and judged the Badger of the Year competition 2025. It was an amazing day and wonderful to see so many talented badgers. Congratulations to Harvey and Emily from Wigan Unit! I also received my Lead Cadet rank slides after being promoted on Thursday! 🦡💚

Today we held the first Greater Manchester Youth Forum meeting of 2025 at Stockport, which I enjoyed chairing. It was a fab day with lots of units represented from across the district. I can’t wait to see what we can achieve this year as the voice for GM youth! 💚 St John Youth England

This weekend I staffed a Cadet Leadership 1 course in Merseyside, for cadets across the NW. It was an amazing weekend and was a pleasure to see the cadets grow in confidence over the course, as well as to work with an amazing NCO team and adults who made this happen! 🫶💚

NCOTY 2025! 💚 This weekend I had the privilege of competing in the National Cadet of the Year Competition, which was such a surreal experience. Massive well done to everyone who competed & huge congratulations to Dylan and our RCOTYs- I am honoured to be North West’s RCOTY!

Gold DofE Practice Expedition ‘25 🏕️ I spent this Easter weekend completing my Gold Practice with St John Ambulance DofE Such a great 5 days making new friends from across the country and having new unforgettable experiences. A huge well done and thank you to everyone involved! 🥾🌄💚✨

Organ Donor Awards Ceremony 🎖️ On Thursday, I had the honour of attending the Organ Donor Awards in GM, an emotional day honouring those who have saved lives through organ donation, and their families. Thank you to everybody involved- such a beautiful ceremony. 💚🕊️

VE DAY 80 🇬🇧 What an honour to attend Westminster Abbey alongside other RCOTYs and our NCOTY on the 80th anniversary of VE Day! It was such a privilege to hand out white roses to World War II Veterans and I had a great time with such amazing people. 💚 Lest we forget. ❤️

Great Manchester Run ‘25 🏃‍♀️ Today I was at the Great Manchester Run 2025! A great day in the sunshine having an amazing time and learning lots, while treating any runners who needed us. Well done to all! #cadetsonevents 💚🚑🏃‍♀️

St John’s Day 2025 💚🎉 On Saturday, I had the privilege of attending Mansion House and St Paul’s Cathedral, being part of the cadet flag party. It was 32°☀️ but an unforgettable experience! It was great to be reunited with the amazing COTYs, represent NW and celebrate SJA. 🌟
