Immediately following the mayor's 11am FY26 #dcbudget presentation, All In for DC will hold a press conference outside MLK Library in response to the proposed budget & call on DC Council to raise revenue by taxing wealth in order to preserve the programs & services we care about.

Her proposal makes cuts to critical cash/safety net programs--Medicaid, CTC, TANF & likely more, especially in the out years where cuts are hidden--and bets on trickle-down economics via giveaways and disproven strategies benefitting the corporate elite. This is policy violence.

While the Mayor touts her support for early childhood programs, like the Pay Equity Fund, she’s proposing eliminating all funding for the program starting in FY 2027. If it’s a successful and important program, why aren’t you funding it?
