Jr. Bucks had a great week! Jr. Bucks went to Parker Parker Playhouse and Performing Arts center. Science dept. took students to Fl. Panthers for STEM action. City of Deerfield visited for Govt. Week. Athletes won Bball games and placed top 5 in cross country events.

Deerfield Beach Middle School is a Whole School IB Program. This week with the assistance of our PTSA, we are celebrating and pledging to “Be the Buddy, Not the Bully.” I Am IB, We are IB!

Our IB students in the General Studies Pathway competed in a Jeopardy game focused on the following standards: 1.11 Rule of Law and 3.1:  Forms of Gov’t The game became tense. Jr. Bucks hate to lose.

Congratulations to our Boys Soccer Team as they won their first round of playoffs. Next game will be next week. There is No Field, Like a Deerfield!

Our Jr. Buck Cadets led by Deputy Williams participated in a city Chess event. Way to go Jr. Bucks.
