Hearty Congratulation to Dr. Arun Kumar Shukla of IIT Kanpur on winning the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize (SSB) for Science and Technology 2021(Biological Sciences) Dr Jitendra Singh Shekhar Mande MyGovIndia PIB India

Another proud moment for our lab. Many congratulations to my guide Amit Dutt, as he feaures among the top scientists in India! ACTREC-TMC Tata Memorial Hospital

Our lab, Amit Dutt, ACTREC-TMC, reports #Fusobacterium association with #HPV -ve tongue tumors. High Fuso burden form a subgroup, having distinct molecular & clinical features. Article in NARCancer (doi.org/10.1093/narcan…, Bill Dynan - NAR Cancer Editor) & explained in The Hindu.

Pleased to share a clinically relevant finding by Asim Joshi and Ashwin Butle from the lab with Kumar Prabhash and Vanita Noronha, MBBS MD DM from TMH. Osimertinib for lung cancer cells harboring low-frequency EGFR T790M mutation. Thank you SERB for the funding.sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

TMC-SNPdb 2.0, ACTREC-TMC, is the most exhaustive open-source ref dB of germline variants across 1800 Indians to analyze cancer genomes and other disorders. Thank you, Department of Biotechnology! Kudos to Sanket Desai, Rohit Mishra, and the team! vigyanprasar.gov.in/isw/Researcher… #sciencetechnologynews

Glad to be a part of this interesting study BreastCancerResearch characterizing the role of a lncRNA (DSCAM-AS1), in response to progesterone treatment, in suppression of migration and invasion in breast cancer. Kudos to the entire team! Congratulations to neelima yadav and Amit Dutt

.A study group at ACTREC- Tata Memorial Centre (ACTREC-TMC) has identified a potential mechanism by which progesterone treatment can have a beneficial effect on breast cancer survival outcomes. Dr Jitendra Singh Rajesh Gokhale

Glad to share that a part of my thesis work at Amit Dutt lab is published in Communications Biology in collab with Dr Sudhir Nair ACTREC-TMC & Prof. Anil D'Cruz. Using genomic, biochemical, in vitro and in vivo studies we show that miR-944/MMP10/AXL axis promotes tongue cancer spread to lymph nodes.

Thank you The Indian Express for featuring our work on oral cancer #WorldCancerDay!! Immemsely grateful to my mentor Amit Dutt for giving me the opportunity to work on this clinically important study. Congrtulations Neelima Yadav & team for breast cancer study featured The Hindu

Thank you The Hindu for featuring my Ph.D thesis work on progesterone responsive lncRNAs in breast cancer published BreastCancerResearch. Congratulations Amit Dutt Sir and entire team ACTREC-TMC

Our two studies on breast and tongue cancer featured The Hindu and The Indian Express! Glad to see my doctoral thesis work published BreastCancerResearch on breast cancer featured The Hindu. Thank you The Hindu for featuring. Congratulations Amit Dutt Sir and teams at ACTREC-TMC

Thank you Cancer Research Institute - ACTREC, ACTREC-TMC for the appreciation and for providing excellent infrastructure for research.

Progesterone improves survival in br ca pts with node +ve. It works by modulating cell' stress response and inflammation.NcRNAs and the SGK1/AP-1/NDRG1 axis are involved. Pg inhibits cell migration and invasion.A precis by Gaurav,Suhail Ahmad,मुकुल स. गोडबोले! doi.org/10.18632/oncot…

Happy to share that I've joined BIDMC Department of Medicine and Harvard Medical School Boston, MA as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow! Ready to dive deeper into cancer research and collaborate with amazing minds! Thank you all for the support Cancer Research Institute - ACTREC Univ of Hyderabad Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (Group of navodayans) #HarvardPostdoc #Research

Why do some lung cancer patients relapse early on targeted therapy? Our study with Drs. K Prabhash, Vanita Noronha, MBBS MD DM & team from Tata Memorial Hospital in collab with Drs. J Khandare, G Shafi, & team from OneCell Diagnostics published in ESMO Open (ESMO Open) sheds insights. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
