Cup of Excellence released its schedule for 2021, As in Sample Reception and Preselection are scheduled for Feb 1-10 and Feb 22 - Mar 5, 2021 respectively. Throwback to 2020, Our Coffee came out 7th in the competition scoring +89.21.

Cupping 20/21 crop! We cupped +30 coffees from our #SpecialtyCoffee stations. We cannot wait to share with you. The hard work of our team and farmers. Just to give hints, The natural coffees fragrance are breathtaking and the washed coffees are flavorful.

Abore's coffees are as good as the view. Our Abore's Station Lot won the Good Food Awards 2021, and not only that there are two more additional coffees that made it into the finals, Shantawene submitted through @oakwoodroasters and Bombe Durato.

We are proud to present you graduates of 2021! Despite starting with 8 trainees, 5 of them were the ones who pushed through until the end. The students came from different backgrounds and educational expertise with many of them being nearby farmer’s children.

Farmer’s Friday #Farmers_Friday Meet Wokiso Adela, A coffee farmer from Shantawene Village, He started planting coffees in 1997, and became our member farmer in 2017, and started supplying his yearly harvests.

The colorful and vibrant Bensa Market One of the biggest markets in town, Set up every week on Saturdays and Tuesdays. Bensa Markets mostly rely on the coffee harvest since it being the main source of income for the resident farmers.

Meet one of our member farmers Tadesse Milkias, He recalls planting his first coffees in 1999, and he became our member farmer in 2017. He is a resident of Shantawene Village, well known for its coffee production.

Our Hamasho lot is going places. It has been selected as one of the top 150 from 1848 samples, as the first round of Cup of Excellence Competition Selection, also with our other lot from Bona with our partner Nare Ware Chemba. Go Hamasho. 👏👏👏 #cupofexcellence
