Great session with SWTT trainees today, reflecting on how much they've learned in the last six weeks. Some great reflections so soon in their learning journey! #ITT #GetIntoTeaching #School-CentredITT

It's always great to hear how working on supply can help teachers find their place in the classroom again. #teaching #supplyteacher #education #primary #Exeter #Devon

In #Year5 maths today we are on White Rose Maths X by 10, 100 and 1,000. To support some of my learners, I find this simple scaffold works well & means they can work independently. They stick the white sheet in their book & use loose tracing paper to move the digits πŸ₯° #EduTwitter

πŸ’» Last week, our trainees used Kahoot! to learn more about online safety and were taught how to code using Scratch Team micro:bits. Thank you to Michael Emerson and Paul Herring for delivering such an engaging session.

πŸ§‘β€πŸŽ¨ 🎨 Our trainees finished the year off with a sprinkle of creativity today as they learnt all about teaching DT and Art. This included building bridges, preparing tiles from polystyrene and printing to make cards.

The best resource I have in my classroom is my HUE visualiser! Being able to model expectations, work and answers to the children is such a benefit to both their knowledge and presentation! ✨

πŸ§‘β€πŸ« We recently welcomed Greg Bottrill (Can I Go And Play Now?), who delivered a session about the importance of play for effective child development. Our trainees also took part in a session focusing on employability and a practical science demonstration exploring Darwin's theories ⬇️
