Every time I log in to X, I select Following > Recent. This is how the Internet used to work, with RSS, blogs, forums, even pre-2015 Twitter. Give me a reverse chronological feed of posts from people I follow. RTs add variety. Every innovation beyond this has been a mistake.

If you believe that the average voter is routinely hypnotised into voting for things they otherwise wouldn't by social media, you don't actually want democracy. If voters must be corralled by speech restrictions for their votes to be legitimate, then why have them vote at all?
