Honestly I’m embarrassed for Democratic leadership for failing to articulate a clear and sensible antiwar message and leaving it for others to claim the moral high ground.

I finally read this Annie Lowrey piece, which is confused about NYC and omits some major issues of local democracy. (Were none of the 50,000 writers who live here available? 🙃) Some issues below:

The timing of The Atlantic’s anti-ranked choice voting piece couldn’t be worse. Just a day earlier, NJ’s gubernatorial primary ended with a widely split field. I bet many NJ voters had to guess about how to vote strategically, rather than just listing their preferences.
