The #ForsythFire is still burning.

About 3000 people around the Cedar City area are without power due to Rocky Mountain Power's shutoff due to fire danger. RMP has set up a community resource center at The Heritage Center for people to charge electronics, get food, water, ice, or just enjoy some AC.

Driving on UT-18 near thr #ForsythFire and got this emergency alert.

The smoke from the fire is thick and moving north. More evacuations have been ordered for Pinto and Green Valley.

Just talked with a neighbor. He said the people that live out here get worried this time of year because of the fire danger. He said seeing the quick response from first responders have made him feel a little bit better.

Got a little lucky with the wildlife sightings during my hike in #BigCottonwood today.

A lot has been said about Utah during this whole saga, and I get it because I probably would've said similar stuff before I moved here. But after being here for more than a year, I gotta say Utah is great and very misunderstood.

Fire right at the Ensign Peak entrance. We should be getting more information soon.
