I understand that Fox News host Laura Ingraham is comparing the detention centers to essentially summer camps. Having run a summer camp for ten years, I can tell you definitively that the US detention centers are not like summer camps. First of all, they are not in cages.

Next, They are allowed outside. There are athletic fields and usually a swimming pool or a lake. There are plenty of counselors. There is a nurse or nurses on duty. And when and it they go home, they most likely will not face death at the hands of drug gangs.
