Councillors in Orkney will tomorrow discuss proposals to give outer isles residents £5 per week per head for food for the next four weeks. Money would come from a £30 million national pot. Report says isles residents are ‘discouraged’ from travelling to the mainland for food.

Seems strange given that there’s no football or any sport on at the moment but the last few weeks of BBC Sportsound have been brilliant listening.
