This sewage dumping is a total scandal. We can't keep letting these water companies off the hook. If parliament is serious about stopping the sewage scandal, they will accept @TimFarron's amendment today, which could see water company bosses prosecuted for sewage pollution.

Water companies have been getting away with sewage dumping for too long. This new law would have held their bosses accountable for failing to meet pollution targets. What did Conservative MPs do? They jeered, they objected, they voted to let water bosses off the hook.
