Fantastic afternoon at Royal High School HWB for the U14 & U16 Girls state school pitch up and play event, which saw pupil from 67 pupils taking part in AGLV game play (many for the first time) 👏 Huge thank you to Scotland Captain Dr Rachel Malcolm for making surprise appearance as well 🫡🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

EMERGING SCHOOLS | We had a great day on Monday with some of our emerging schools friends. We had 45 players from Ross High, Wandies and Leith at Inch Park for some informal small sided games. The rugby on show was outstanding as always.

CASTLEBRAE | It was a great day at Castlebrae welcoming visitors from the Scottish government to launch the Cashback programme and report for the whole of Scotland. It was great to show off part of our programme and the benefits it can have.

The U16 Girls State School Pitch Up & Play series continued at Leith Academy last Friday, with 41 pupils from East Area. Designed to allow girls to experience AGLVs rugby, it provides activity at a development level which is a stepping stone prior to joining the club game 🏉👏

ACADEMY NEWS INSPIRESPORT BOYS NATIONAL 1 CLUB CONFERENCE WINNERS 2024/2025 We are proud to have been presented with the National Youth Conference trophy for season 2024-25. David Drummond, SRU handed the plaque over to Logan Small and Alex Toolis, Performance Manager.

SCHOOLS WEEK | Saltire Energy Schools Rugby Week 🏉 continued with some outstanding rugby being played by our S2 SoR pupils at castlebrae. The running and offloading was top notch. The sunshine was also a great added bonus.

Amazing numbers out at Raeburn Place this morning the Edinburgh BATs Rugby S1/S2 Schools Week Festival, with over 80 pupils from Broughton PE & Trinity Acad Sports taking my to the field for full contact rugby activity - many for the first time! #EveryonesGame
