Today the Embassy team in Asmara 🇪🇷 came together to run, cycle, walk or row a mile. We joined colleagues from 🇬🇧 diplomatic missions around the world for this year’s #Globalmile - enjoying some great exercise in this beautiful city - before handing the baton to UK in Pakistan 🇬🇧🇵🇰.

A privilege to lead today’s Remembrance Day commemoration in Asmara. Here at the Commonwealth War Cemetery there are 273 graves of those who gave their lives in the Second World War. Thank you to Commonwealth War Graves , Eritrean and international friends for joining us as we honour their memory.
