2A boys long jump: Qualk, California, 1st, 22-10 1/2 Johnston, Shady Side, 5th, 22-2 1/4

2A boys javelin: Griffin Burnett, South Park, 3rd, 179-9

It will be a while before we get more medalists - the track is only prelims the rest of today and the field events still have a while to go.

2A boys discus: 4th: Jonah Pfender, Fort Cherry, 166-1 5th: Garret Myers, Springdale, 160-1 6th: Kevin Mahoney, Laurel, 157-2

2A boys shot just ended and it was wild: 1st: Dino Nadarevic, Gateway, 58-8 1/2 3rd: Tyler Ondrusek, Central Valley, 58-7 3/4

Catching up a bit on earlier winners: Dayshaun Spencer of Brentwood won the 2A boys triple jump (45-5 3/4); Jaxon Schoedel of Mohawk won the 2 A boys 3200 (state record 8:59.34) and Quaker Valley won the 2A boys 4x100 (7:56.89)

Jerry Davis of Greensborg Central Catholic won the gold in the 2A boys 400 with a 48.50.

Dino Nadarevic of Gateway wins the 3A boys discus with a 180-2. He also won the 3A shot yesterday.
