Maybe the third space is the space in the middle, the space that joins, integrates, the other two spaces? That sounds to me like a powerful place to be. In the middle. Inescapable. A1 #lthechat

A2 #LTHEchat The biggest problem may be being taken seriously - “ You’re not a proper academic, are you?” “Yes. I research, publish.” “What’s your subject?” “Higher education.” “Is that a proper subject?” And so it rolls.

Sarah, I know. But its got books, journals, research. Maybe your colleague doesn’t want education to be a subject because, if it was, she’d have to take it as seriously as her own subject? Rather than just something she does on the side.

A6 #LTHEchat Everybody will be at the party. Sharing, listening, talking, laughing, planning, dreaming… and saying “Happy Holiday everybody!”
