Inspired by the watercolour poetry of the artist Paul Klee, Make Club painted their favourite song lyrics. Personally, I am very happy to see The_Proclaimers referenced.

Picture Book Society had a brilliant last session of the term entering the imaginative world of the circus. They created some captivating clown portraits.

Year 5 have been developing their fashion design skills this term. They were inspired by their class book 'A Clock of Stars,' written by Francesca Gibbons. Future stars of the design world! London College of Fashion.

We are so proud of our Debate Mate team. They attended the London Cup at the prestigious SOAS Uni. in Russell Square. They scored the most points of any school and made the final debate, losing against an exceptional team. Supportive, collaborative, intelligent and amazing.

This picture was taken at 6am this morning. Year 4 are just beginning to stir after a very peaceful night. It has been so lovely to see the confidence of the class grow and now they have survived a night in the wilderness. Very happy children and staff. Have a great day today.

Year 5 are really enjoying their class novel 'Journey to Jo'burg' by Beverley Naidoo . Using planning from Paula Briggs @AccessArt they created 3D illustrations for the chapter 'Oranges.'

We are looking forward to welcoming former Darell pupil Jo-Anne into school tomorrow. She wil be visiting Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 and will be selling her book in the main entrance after school.

Fantastic work by our Year 2 community Club today. They worked extremely hard to completely clear the playground area of our local park. The school tag line 'Making a Difference' in action. They were supported by two Year 6 prefects. Thank you to all.

Art attack! Look at these intricate batik banners. They were designed after making some close observational drawings of plants and wild flowers.

We are always looking to be outward facing at Darell School. We are delighted to be working alongside Uni of Roehampton to give Year 1 undergraduate students experience of maths lessons in school. Over 100 students will observe the excellent teaching at our school.
