This is one of the many reasons God called Adam Greenway to Southwestern. The big tent vision sounds a lot like what I picture heaven to be. There’s strength in diversity of thought. God chose not to make us robots. We shouldn’t try to transform students into being a robot.

We enjoyed having our crew together yesterday. And oh yes their parents were there as well.

Tomorrow I look forward to hearing one of God’s choicest servants as he, Dr. Adam Greenway, is inaugurated as the 9th president of SWBTS. I’m currently hearing #7 Dr. Ken Hemphill nrhbc. “Difficult circumstances are the platform on which we most clearly see God’s activity.”Amen!

Jared Helms, our young adult minister, today completed his ordination process. Jared faithfully serves nrhbc and ⁦Southwestern Seminary⁩ . The future is bright for Jared and Sam. I’m so glad to have them in our lives.

Today 2 of God’s choicest graduated from ⁦Southwestern Seminary⁩. Ben and Kelsi served well ⁦nrhbc⁩ as they continued their education. For years we’ve had the privilege of sharing ministry with fine young men and women. We ‘re proud of you Ben and Kelsi.

Last night my sister whom I loved very much went to be with Jesus. Pray especially for her 2 daughters in Memphis as we try to make arrangements during these days of social distancing.

He is risen! He is risen indeed! He left this tomb and entered my heart.

I want to thank everyone for your kind words of support following the death of my sister Betty. Because of some issues related to the Coronavirus, the funeral was rescheduled to April 30 at The Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Poplar Ave. in Memphis.

So grateful SWBTS has godly men and women who share their faith with others. We’re looking forward to hearing a word from Dr. Matt Queen.

Two great men at NRHBC yesterday. Dr. McDow a faithful member, former evangelism professor at SWBTS, and supporter of our ministry staff. Dr. Queen current evangelism professor at SWBTS and servant to our local churches. God has and is using these men to win people to Christ.

Today we were blessed to have Dr. Paul Chitwood from Islamabad Metblogs nrhbc. God is at work around the world.

I am a blessed man. This Friday Tammy and I will celebrate our 50th anniversary. Our children are giving us a 50th anniversary reception tonight at 7:00 pm at The Riley Center at Southwestern Seminary. If you are in the area we would love to see you. Blessings!
