The First Baptist Church was competed before the 1906 earthquake and heavily damaged by it. Julia Morgan led the restoration of the building with its current design. Would be nice to have the top ornamentation of the towers back!

On April 20th, 1958, the last Key System train rumbled over the mighty Bay Bridge, putting to bed a major era in Bay Area transit history. 66 years later, another closes with the final BART Legacy run. As one Key worker wrote way back in 1958: it's "the end of a perfect story".

Last week we retired our legacy fleet. Thousands showed up to ride the old cars one last time. We captured a great moment as the final train left the platform with folks waving goodbye.
