異論あるとは思うが、個人的には「尊い」の英訳はvenerableが一番しっくりくる。Preciousでは崇拝のニュアンスが足りない In my opinion, "venerable" comes closest to capturing the nuance of toutoi (尊い) because "precious" doesn't encompass the emotional element of worshiping something.
