This morning,KWS got information about the presence of seven elephants in Mariakani from a resident.The response team dispatched from Mombasa Marine Park trailed the elephants,which were initially migrating to Tsavo but diverted back to Mariakani due to disturbance by spectators.

Thanks to a tip-off from a member of the public, four suspects were arrested in Limpopo today, after being found in possession of a pangolin. The pangolin was being kept in a 25l oil barrel. It was recovered and taken for medical assessment. 1/2

Recently, we were contacted by Adams Cassinga Adams Cassinga from @ConservCongo . He needed advice about saving a newborn white bellied pangolin whose mother had been killed for the pot. Sadly the baby did not survive but not without a concerted effort to save it. 1/2
