ESR Daniel Schurholz and Arjun Chennu also trained the diving ESRs in the use of their HyperDiver! Interested how this instrument can change coral reef monitoring? Read all about it: 4d-reef.eu/coral-reef-habā¦

Very happy to be showing the HyperDiver and our benthic mapping work at the #ICRS2022! 4D-REEF Max Planck Institute for Marine Microbiology Microsensors - MPI Bremen

Until tomorrow you still have the chance to get answers to all your questions about the #HyperDiver Max Planck Institute for Marine Microbiology Max Planck Institute for Marine Microbiology Daniel Schurholz ā check it out ICRS 2022 - 15. International Coral Reef Symposium in #Bremen! š¤æšŖøšø

While everyone is at lunch ā¦Daniel Schurholzā© from ā¦Max Planck Institute for Marine Microbiologyā© is busy at work explaining the ins and outs of the #hyperdiver to ā¦Stewart Jamiesonā© from ā¦Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI)ā©. š

I had a very nice time last Wednesday showing our institute Max Planck Institute for Marine Microbiology and experiments in the Microsensors - MPI Bremen group to 6 very enthusiastic Coral Scientists, as a part of the #ICRS2022 Science Tours. Thanks for coming to visit us!

Finally in the warm water! So excited of operating the HyperDiver in its natural habitat - in reefs of Spermonde, Indonesia. Using spectral AI, Daniel Schurholz aims at creating habitat maps across depth and turbidity gradients in 6 islands. #fieldwork Stay tuned!

Great work by our Microsensors - MPI Bremen group! Very interesting study Marit van Erk Olivia Metcalf Bourceau, congrats!

Getting a clear picture of turbid reefs: ESRs Estradivari, Daniel Schurholz and Dino Ramos teamed up with Indonesian students Andi M.A. Pratama, Gunawan and Phita, to identify organisms living in turbid reefs using #AI of underwater images. Read it all here!4d-reef.eu/digitizing-theā¦

Hot on the heels of his latest paper on how Earth has passed six of nine planetary boundaries, Johan Rockström from Potsdam-Institut für Klimafolgenforschung PIK delivered a thought-provoking and captivating talk followed by a dynamic Q&A session. Thank you Johan Rockström for sharing your knowledge.
