I spoke at International Democracy Union in Brussels on Europe's migration crisis. “Who comes, who stays, who pays? Fixing Europe’s immigration system”. Respect means that those who come to Europe must not only be given protection - they must be expected to contribute.

🇧🇬🤝🇺🇸 During our U.S. visit, we toured the DEA’s Office of Investigative Technology & training academy in Quantico. We saw cutting-edge tools in action & discussed 🇧🇬 officers joining DEA training programs. Shared our top drug-busting tech from recent GDBOP ops. #DEA

In Washington, I met with DEA Director Robert Murphy to deepen 🇧🇬–🇺🇸 cooperation in the fight against drugs & the deadly spread of fentanyl. Together with 🇧🇬 police leaders, we shared strong results: 3x more drugs seized in early 2025 vs. the entire previous year. #DEA

🇧🇬🇬🇷🇹🇷 In Sofia, we held the 2nd trilateral ministerial meeting on tackling illegal migration. Together with my colleagues from Greece and Türkiye, we reaffirmed our joint commitment to regional security, stronger returns policy, and combatting smuggling networks.
