A lot of really important information on Win32 programming is buried deep within the bowels of the old web. Often only available on the Wayback Machine or by second-hand references if you’re some combination of persistent and lucky.

Hey Microsoft, want to inspire confidence for a change? Remove the enrollment gate in front of your extended security updates for Windows 10. Give the people who have being using your system for years the protection they deserve.

I’ve fallen out of love with GOG.COM and haven’t bought any games from them in some time and unlikely to in the future. From my experience, the games (at least some of them) are community maintained, which sounds good in theory, but veer from “preservation” to just modifications.

I must admit, I think I had it about the same, I thought in 10 years VR would be everywhere. That being said, it *feels* like what drives the world today is mostly irrational and substanceless.
