This sort of thing is why people don’t trust or like politicians. Does Peter Kyle really think the founder of Wikipedia is “on the side of Jimmy Savile?” There’s serious criticisms of the law and arguing everyone opposed is a paedo is disgraceful.

I'm on the side of wanting to keep the country and society safe. The Online Safety Act is frankly broken. Calling people that oppose you predators is as ridiculous as the idea kids can't bypass the restrictions imposed by the OSA. Delusional.

Ben Ramanauskas (@benramanauskas) 's Twitter Profile Photo

No, but you would have to be pretty simple to believe this. The OSA will do very little to keep children safe but will make life much for difficult for ordinary, law-abiding adults.

As someone born in 1997, who grew up with the internet, I know there is only one way to stop a teenager or child from accessing materials they shouldn't be seeing: Taking away their access to the internet. That's it. Kids are smart. Much savier than their parents and

I'm a parent This isn't about protecting my kid. This is about you controlling what I can and can not see or do on the Internet. This is about data mining me and every other adult I can protect my own kid from the Internet. I do not need your help. Resign.

Just went to some adult websites and looked into the first two age verification platforms I came across; - The first is incorporated in Seychelles - The second is incorporated in Cyprus Neither have a presence on companies house, both have fake UK forwarding addresses only.

As warned, the Australian government is discussing measures to ensure VPNs cannot be used to circumnavigate age restrictions and identity verification for the internet. To all those who shrugged and said, 'It'll be fine!' No - no it WON'T be fine.

Been some months in the making but our advisory for rtpengine vis-a-vis RTP Bleed and RTP Inject is out. It describes security fixes that aim to fully address or at least mitigate these RTP Bleed and RTP Inject attacks. Fix requires upgrade and config changes.
